Abstract : The Purpose is to conduct to review characteristics of polycystic ovary syndrome using ultrasonography in Saudi female population through which incidence of infertility caused by PCOS has been increased. Across sectional clinical study was conducted at two Hospitals in Saudi Arabia during period from January-December 2018. One hundred seventy-six women were examined for PCOS, using GE Healthcare Ultrasonography. The main symptoms, pelvic pain, acne and hirsutism. For primary infertility the higher number of patients who had pelvic pain, 18 and 8 patients respectively. For secondary infertility the higher frequency of pelvic pain then patients with no sign 21 and 18 patients respectively. The ultrasound approach was Transvaginal and Transabdominal. And the number of follicles, using TA approach no follicle in 61 patients, < 10 follicles in 38 patients and >10 follicles in 29 patients. Using TV approach, no follicle in18 patients, <10 follicles in 20 patients and > 10 follicles in 10 patients. A high prevalence of PCOS was found among women of the sample population in the present study that may require urgent health education interventions in order to prevent the associated consequences
