P-value of 0.008, calculated through the chi-square test shows that association is significant because a lower p-value showed that the Null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted represents that there is a strong positive association between internet addiction and academic performance. Our study concludes that Academic performance is found to be associated with internet addiction and the trend of decreased academic performance is found with increased internet addiction.
