Abstract : The article mentioned the emotional support strategy for children who were sexually abused. Emotional support methods were based on the psychotherapies for non-professional use. The researcher used case study methods on a female child who was sexually abused, combined with observation, psychometric and empirical tests. Through the 3-steps process of being supported: [1] Non-directive play, [2] Life value education, [3] Simple visualization exercises, child’s negative emotions have gradually decreased. This result opened up initial applications of emotional support strategies for children who have been sexual-abused especially for non-specialist counseling and psychotherapy teams: social workers, homeroom teachers and parents; and provided the health care support’s network for children in the community
