The Stamina of Mild Intellectual Disability Children and the Orientation of designing Physical Excercises to Improve their Intentional Attention: A Case Study in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Abstract
: The article presents the stamina of children 6-9 years old with mild intellectual disability in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Using a mixed method of interview and questionnaire, the researcher gives 6 types of physical exercises to test the stamina of children with mild intellectual disability at some specialized schools. Results showed that, there was no difference in stamina between normal children and children with mild intellectual disability. The results of the study have contributed to the design of physical exercises to improve intentional attention in children with mild intellectual disability, contributing to their integration and benefits about education, especially physical education like other normal children in Vietnamese school
