Abstract : Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), the most common chronic liver disease, encompasses simple steatosis, steatohepatitis, fibrosis and cirrhosis. This study aimed to clarify the ameliorating effect of exercise during and after the development of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis via adipokine secretion. 60 male albino rats were divided into group I (control), group II (HFD induced obesity), group III (HFD with simultaneous exercise). Chemerin and insulin resistance (IR) were assayed. The circulating chemerin together with IR were significantly increased in group II as compared to control one. Meanwhile, practicing exercise from the first day significantly decreased the circulating chemerin levels together with IR as confirmed by histopathological examinations. In conclusion; exercise ameliorated the altered adipokine release and IR as pathogenic drivers in experimentally induced NAFLD..

Abstract : Nutrition is one of the critical factors that can determine humans' level of health and cognitive function. In the current condition, people as consumers tend to choose food products that are natural (healthy), have less process and have fewer product additives. The leading choice, in this case, is a highly nutritious food and drink. Something that can motivate this is the quality of life and the knowledge of the related community and healthy drinks. This study aimed to describe the level of public understanding of healthy drinks in the city of Samarinda. The method in this study is a descriptive survey method with a measuring instrument in the form of a questionnaire distributed to the public through webinar activities (online). The results and conclusions of this study are known that as many as 50% of the people have good knowledge about healthy drinks. Still, indeed several factors affect this community's ability, such as time, lifestyle, and so on..

Abstract : The study was conducted after the sudden UEFA Euro 2020 football accident of cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest is the abrupt loss of heart function in a person who may or may not has been diagnosed with heart disease. It can come on suddenly or in the wake of other symptoms. Cardiac arrest is often deadly if appropriate steps are not taken immediately. The study aims to address the need for an adequate assessment of functional status in sudden cardiac arrest (S.C.A.) among football players and the proper recommendation..

Abstract : Chemotherapy, the most commonly used systemic treatment for cancer suppression, invariably destroys healthy cells, resulting in side effects, stressing the need for anticancer drug carriers that preserve or enhance chemotherapy effects while minimising the intensity of adverse reactions. Nanoparticles, which may be modified to have a variety of biological features and employed in a variety of contexts, offer a safer and more effective way to deliver chemotherapy. We have discussed uses of polymer nanoparticles, dendritic polymers, micelles, liposomes and other nanoparticles that are being investigated as drug carriers. We have briefed various endogenous and exogenous stimuli that can be used to release the packed drug from the nanoparticle at specified targeted sites. Combination drug delivery systems composed of various nanoparticles aimed at delivering two or more drugs simultaneously that can give synergistic antitumor effects and decrease individual drug toxicity are also discussed. Applications of nanoparticles in certain specific cancers and nanoparticles designed for intracellular drug delivery are discussed as well..
