Abstract : IV negative needleless Connector is a device that is connected to the hub of the Central Venous Catheter (CVC) and allows intermittent access to a vascular access device with an administration set or syringe without the use of needles. It is designed to have a negative pressure that could affect the CVP measurements. The purpose of this study was to compare CVP readings before and after the connection of the needleless connector to the CVC and how much does it affect CVP readings for adult ICU patients. A prospective observational study was conducted in a 21-bed in a tertiary referral hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The study started in November 2017 until July 2019. Participants were older than 18 years with central venous catheters on continuous CVP monitoring in adult critical care unit. During the study period (20 months) the first CVP reading before connecting the needleless connector and the second CVP reading were measured after connecting a sterile needleless connector to the CVC distal lumen while the time difference between every two CVP measurements (Pre and post) was 5-10 minutes. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 24. Total participants were 110 patients, among which 62 (56.36%) where male and 48 (43.64%) were female. The average BMI was 20%. Paired t test showed statistical difference between the two readings before and after the connection respectively: (m± [SD]) (10.85± [4.38] vs. 11.8± [4.06], p ˂0.001). IV Negative needleless connector a significantly increased the central venous pressure measurements of adult ICU patients. This might lead to unnecessary additional diagnostic procedures. Using of IV neutral needleless connector with zero fluid displacement IV connectors might be considered for CVP measurements; however further research is warranted.

Abstract : Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) induces proliferation of endothelial cells, stimulates angiogenesis, and increases vascular permeability, but information about its role in bone remodeling therapy is limited. The aim of this study is to determine Evaluation of the expression of macrophage colony- stimulating factor (M-CSF) to assessment for dental tissue response includes (periodontal ligament, cementum, alveolar bone) to application of LLLT and VEGF in orthodontic treatment in experimental rabbits. Immunohistochemical study for osteoblastogenesis and osteoclastogenesis include the followings Evaluation of the expression of tissue nonspecific alkaline phosphatase (ALPs) by osteoblast. Evaluation of the expression of collagen type 1 Evaluation of the expression of macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF) to assessment for dental tissue response includes (periodontal ligament, cementum, alveolar bone) to application of LLLT and VEGF in orthodontic treatment in experimental rabbits.

Abstract : In this study, fifty isolates of S. marcescens were isolated from Blood, wound, Sputum and urinary tract infections, the results of screening the highest and best bacterial isolates for producing prodigiosin pigment was done and the isolate (SKT14) gave the highest pigment production. Prodigiosin pigment was extracted using ethyl acetate and acetone , Purification was done by using column chromatography , Minimum inhibitory concentration method was used to evaluate the inhibitory effect of purified prodigiosin pigment and the result showed that MIC was 1.56 μg/ml against Enterobacter sp , 25 μg/ml against S. marcescens and 50 μg/ml against S.aureus , as well as by using turbidity method the highest inhibition rate at concentration 50 μg/ml was seen against S. aureus and Enterobacter sp. , moderate against E.coli , while the lowest inhibition rate was against K.pneumoniae and S.marcescens , while highest inhibition rate at concentration 1.56 μg/ml was seen against S. aureus and E.coli , moderate against Enterobacter sp. and S.marcescens , while the lowest inhibition rate was against K.pneumoniae.

Abstract : The aim of the current research is to identify the relationship between identification with all of humanity and self-efficacy among a number of volunteer doctors in the ranks of soldiers fighting against the terrorist organization ISIS. They numbered (150) male volunteers working in government hospitals in the southern cities of Iraq. Two measures were used, one of which is to measure identification with all humanity, it consists of (11) items, and the other scale measures the effectiveness of the self and included (10) items prepared by Schwarzer 1993, and an alpha stability factor was calculated for the scale of identification with all humanity, and reached (0.85) and for the effectiveness scale Self reached (0.79). The results showed that Iraqi doctors from the southern provinces have a high level of identification with all of humanity, they have high effectiveness, and I concluded that there is a correlation between identification with all of humanity and the effectiveness of self among volunteer doctors.

Abstract : In this study, manual wheelchair responses to different surface types are investigated. For this purpose, a measurement arrangement which consists of arduino UNO and MPU 6050 are utilized. A visual basic code specialized for remotely obtaining the data are written and used. Two significant points are elected for sensor fixation which is located in the front and back axles of the wheelchair which weighs 50 kg; subject and propulsion speed of 0.12 m/s. Time is used for measuring and analyzing acceleration, velocity and displacement. Rotation components in x, y, z coordinate roll, Based on the results, the main vibration will be in the vertical axis and in the rough road surface.
